Each year the Chance Harman Memorial Fund provides a scholarship to a high school senior attending school at one of the area high schools that forfeited a Home game to participate in the Chance Harman Classic. A $3,000 scholarship is given to a Floyd County High School student, while $1,500 scholarships are awarded to the other schools.
Each scholarship is presented in Chance Harman’s name and also comes with a Bible that reads In Memory of Chance Harman on the cover.
Over the past six years the Chance Harman Memorial Fund has provided thirty-four high school seniors with educational scholarships.
